The key points are:

  • No unnecessary travel on City of Newburgh roadways from 9 P.M. tonight, Saturday, August 27, 2011 through Sunday, August 28 at 7 p.m.
  • City parks will be closed as of 4 P.M. Saturday, August 28 through 7 P.M.

The City Manager, Mayor, and City Council also encouraged residents to stay home during the storm, away from windows, skylights and glass doors.
