Newburgh’s Watershed Take Two

After hearing reports of problems viewing Peter Smith’s video “Newburgh’s Watershed: an Introduction,” I have posted the video on youtube.

To repeat from the earlier post:

Peter Smith, City of Newburgh resident and member of the Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance, produced the above video to give an overview of Newburgh’s watershed. The video includes a look at some of the areas surrounding Washington Lake, the city’s reservoir–and source of our drinking water.

If you have questions about this video or the state of the city’s watershed, the Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance’s monthly meetings are the last Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. at the Shelter House in Downing Park. Additional information, including contact information, is available on their webpage here.
