On Thursday, November 13, the Newburgh City Council had a special work session meeting to discuss the budget. They met with department heads George Garrison, Bob McKenna and Lourdes Zapata-Perez, and the assessor, Steve Ruelke. The meeting concluded with a general discussion of the budget and issues such as holiday pay before the council went into executive session.
There will be one additional budget work session tomorrow, Monday, at City Hall at 6 p.m.
